On 25.03.2025, I received a Commendation for Outstanding Journalistic Engagement in the Best Investigative Story Category at the "Nikola Mladenov 2024 Journalist Awards Competition" in Macedonia for the investigative documentary "Caution! Visible Air," supported by Journalismfund.
My colleague Suzana Miceva received the certificate on my behalf.
The investigative documentary "The Fragile Forests" won the third prize in the national competition of the EU Investigative Journalism Awards in Macedonia in 2024.
The award was given to us by the EU Ambassador to Macedonia, Michalis Rokas.
The investigative documentary "The Fragile Forests" won the first prize in the competition "Facts and misinformation about the human environment" organized by the Council of Media Ethics in Macedonia, UNESCO, and the EU.
The prize was awarded to the documentary film which production was supported by Journalismfund Europe. It was about illegal logging and illegal workers from Albania cutting trees on Jablanica, a mountain that should be declared a national park, a person from a mafia family involved in it, and how the institutions fail to protect the area.
